In about a month I’ll attend several shows in Milan. Yes, here we go again! During Milan Fashion Week (June 22-26) designers will show their Spring Summer 2014 menswear collections to the world. Amazing shows, dazzling parties, beautiful people everywhere, too much booze, the best fingerfood there is, posing on the street… I can’t wait being there again! Stay tuned… ’cause I’ll give my thoughts on the new collections and the latest trends. Don’t forget! I’ll be live on Facebook (The Fashionistic Lover), Instagram (fashionisticl) and Twitter (@FashionisticL). Let the madness begin!

Eight days in Turkey, a well-deserved holiday after a year of hard work. From discovering the Bodrum Peninsula, a boat trip to Kos (Greece), hours of staring at the Mediterranean Sea from my balcony… to being lazy at the pool with too many cocktails, I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks, dad, for the wonderful trip! I’m not the person that takes a lot of pictures on holiday. Only a small Instagram round- up, to show you how lovely it was. Enjoy!

The biggest trend this Spring Summer season? PRINTS! Bright and fun. Stripes have been re-polished, taking on a whole new, modern feel. Horizontal, vertical or oblique? It doesn’t matter! As long as you wear stripes, you’re fine. The floral print trend continues, as does the foulard print, but with a twist of patchwork. Camouflage, postcards and animal prints work too. There’s only 1 rule: no limits! Dare to combine different kind of prints or rock the head-to-toe printed look. Boys, it’s time to stand out!

Some months ago I’ve posted about Antoine + Stanley, an Australian shoe (and accessory) brand I discovered  and who really deserves the attention (Brand to discover: Antoine + Stanley). I’m in love with this brand, so it’s no surprise I love the Spring Summer 2013 collection. Designed for guys who appreciate - and demand - designer shoes, but still want value for money, this collection is young, cool, urban and edgy. Must-have beauties in every fashionisto’s closet! There are too many lovely pairs, so I’ve picked my 5 favourite ones:

Available on Asos.com and Antoineandstanley.com.

A bag made of tents, anyone? For its Spring Summer 2013 accessories collection, TENT takes discarded tents left behind at the Summer music festivals to create rugged, utilitarian, outdoor bags. Casual, nice and good for Mother Nature, what more do you want? The perfect accessory to spice up your Summer outfits without doing an effort. Available at YMC, Sefton and Fenwick Bond Street. Go get it, boys!

… you get Drape by Swedish photographer Eva Stenram. Exhibited at the 28th Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival, these photographs shows women posing in interior domestic sets behind curtains or drapes, offering a glimpse into intimate spaces. Obsessed!
